Sharon McCloskey serves as the Vice President of Marketing for the world’s fourth-busiest airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International.
In this position Sharon provides direction and strategy for branding, digital/mobile marketing, consumer messaging and research insights for a customer base of 64 million passengers each year. She leads the development and implementation of innovative customer engagement and wayfinding solutions for DFW’s customers, including the award-winning DFW mobile app which now offers advance purchase of food & beverage items at the airport.
Sharon acts as a ‘champion for the customer’ within the DFW organisation, and delivers actionable research and consumer understanding, including customer segmentation.
In her previous work at the airport Sharon oversaw DFW’s business-to-business marketing efforts, focused on attracting airlines and new land development. She also developed the first Airport Art Program at DFW’s international terminal.
Sharon holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA in International Management from the University of Dallas.
