As Manager of the Concessions Division at Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC), Yunjeong Jang is preparing for the successful opening of Incheon Airport’s Terminal 2, and she has been involved in planning, leasing and preparing of concessions for operation. Her major duties at Incheon have been analysis of customers’ purchasing power and patterns based on their nationality, designing optimal layouts, preparing concessions for RFP, negotiating with preferred bidders and managing interior works.
Currently she is preparing for the Grand Opening of Incheon International Airport’s new terminal, with new concessionaires. Terminal 2 will bring fresh and more trendy concessions, from both global and local companies, which are intended to satisfy different sectors of customers simultaneously.
Before she moved to the Concessions Division, Yunjeong was involved in Incheon Airport’s Overseas Development operation, developing new airport projects in the global aviation market. She successfully managed Incheon’s bid to win the consultation project for Istanbul New Airport, Istanbul’s third airport, where IIAC launched a new business model by providing a consultancy service throughout the entire development process for the new international airport.
