Glyn Williams

Glyn Williams was appointed as Western Sydney Airport’s General Manager Retail in July 2021. He is responsible for all retail-related activities at the airport, including planning, design and leasing. Additional responsibilities include considerations of the airport’s lounges, advertising, product commercialisation, new media and car parking and ground transport.

Glyn was previously the General Manager Retail and on the executive management team at Sydney Airport, where he managed the repositioning of the T1 international terminal to luxury along with the retail redevelopments on T1 and T2.

In 2017, The Moodie Davitt Report awarded Glyn with the honour of being one of the nine most inspirational people in global travel retail that year based on his achievements at Sydney Airport.

Other key roles in his career have been Senior Vice President Asia Pacific for Harding Retail, Group General Manager Retail at Dexus property group, and Regional General Manager at Westfield.

Glyn is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, is an internationally recognised speaker on airports and travel retail, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Politics) from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
