
Halil İbrahim Anasoy
Halil İbrahim Anasoy is Head of Non-Aviation Commerce at Istanbul Airport, one of the world’s largest aviation hubs hosting over 110 airlines and 80 million passengers annually. He leads a team of 68 professionals managing more than €1 billion in annual non-aviation revenue, covering retail, F&B, hospitality, logistics, advertising and airport city development.
With over 17 years’ experience in real-estate development, commercial strategy and asset management, Halil has played a key role in the planning, launch and growth of Istanbul Airport’s commercial ecosystem – driving a +34% increase in non-aviation revenues in 2024. He has led landmark partnerships with international brands, including Hilton, Emirates, Saudia, FedEx and Alibaba, and guided the development of more than 1 million sq m of commercial space across terminal and airport city projects.
Before joining Istanbul Airport, Halil held senior roles at JLL and DTZ, advising global corporations such as Apple, ExxonMobil, Nestlé and QNB Finansbank on investment strategy, portfolio optimisation and large-scale real-estate transactions.
He holds a B.Sc. in City and Regional Planning and an M.Sc. in Real Estate Development (thesis stage) from Istanbul Technical University. Halil is also a licensed member of Capital Markets Board of Türkiye.
