Hiroshi Onishi is Executive Vice President of Haneda Airport’s operator, Japan Airport Terminal. Prior to joining Haneda Airport, he was President of Japan’s largest department store chain, Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings where he was responsible for the launch of Isetan Men’s store in 2003.
He was actively involved in new business processes for enhanced value creation such as supply chain innovation. He was also responsible for the redesign of the Isetan Shinjuku store which has the world’s largest turnover and is known for its constant innovation.
Passionate about new experiences, during his time as President at Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Hiroshi Onishi founded the Haneda Future Research Institute, which undertakes challenges in diverse, new sectors such as regional revitalisation, art and culture, technology and human resource development.
