James Brown brings 13 years’ experience in Public Relations to his role as Communications Director at integrated retail marketing and design agency, Purple. Over the past decade he has supported leading global brands in meeting their business objectives through strategic communications, including Pernod Ricard, Shiseido, Mondelez and Abbott Laboratories.
Managing Purple’s dynamic PR teams based out of Singapore, South Africa and UK, James oversees content creation and communications output across integrated channels. This includes end-to-end campaign delivery spanning corporate communications, B2B and trade media, lifestyle media and KOL engagement, and social media management.
James is a strong advocate for the role of technology in streamlining processes and enhancing creativity. This year, he has played an important role in harnessing cutting-edge technologies, such as generative AI, for communications, graphic design and video production. He continues to monitor the digital landscape for breakthroughs that can help brands gain a competitive edge.
