
Kjeld Binger
Kjeld Binger has more than 24 years’ experience in the airport sector, and since November 2011 he has been responsible for the operational management and delivery of the new terminal at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan. In his capacity as Executive Vice President of Copenhagen Airports (CPH) he oversaw the company’s transformation to a major regional hub and, as CEO of Copenhagen Airports International, he acquired and operated a successful global portfolio of 11 airports. His other positions have included Chairman and CEO of Mexican group ASUR and CEO of DAE Airports in Dubai, as well as board member of various airport companies.
Kjeld’s areas of expertise include business planning, acquisition and operational management of existing airports as well as development of green- and brownfield sites. His main focus has been on the development of the necessary infrastructure and commercial facilities to supply capacity in due time, constantly taking into account the strong correlation between market development and the necessary supply of quality capacity at competitive rates.
Having graduated in 1980 from the Technical University in Odense, Denmark, Kjeld holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering.
