
Luigi Battuello
Luigi Battuello is Chief Commercial Officer of SEA Milan Airports, leading non-aviation business activities and aviation marketing.
He joined the company in April 2010 as Non-Aviation Commercial Director, tasked with growing non-aeronautical revenues, including retail, food & beverage, parking, lounges and customer care.
He was promoted to his current role in October 2024, adding to his existing responsibilities route development and airline marketing for both Milan Linate and Malpensa airports.
Luigi began his managerial career in travel retail in Rome, spending approximately six years with the Weitnauer Group (now Avolta), a leading duty-free operator, rising to the position of General Manager. In 2001, he joined McArthurGlen – a leading European group in developing and managing designer outlet villages – as Centre Manager of the newly opened Serravalle Designer Outlet (Alessandria, Italy), successfully leading its growth to become Europe’s largest outlet centre. Over the following seven years, Luigi oversaw the development and opening of four additional outlets in Italy before being appointed Country Manager for in 2007.
Luigi holds a degree in Political Science from the University ‘Federico II’ of Naples and a master’s in international development from STOÀ Business School in Ercolano, Naples.
