Patrick Coveney

Patrick Coveney is a strong, strategic and purposeful leader at SSP Group – a US$5 billion food travel business now operating in almost 40 countries across the world. Patrick joined SSP as Group CEO in 2022. He reset the strategy, team and culture of the business, delivered rapid growth, and has executed a number of acquisitions across North America and Asia.

He brings extensive food industry knowledge having spent 14 years as CEO of Greencore Group, a leading convenience food producer, as well as holding non-executive positions at various international F&B companies.

Prior to Greencore, Patrick worked for nine years at McKinsey & Company in Europe and North America, latterly as Managing Partner for Ireland.

He was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, where he earned a doctorate in Management Studies.
