Stephane Geffroy

In April 2020, Stephane Geffroy was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer (Non-Aeronautical) of Kansai Airports as well as Chairman of the Board of Kansai Airports Retail & Services.

Stephane joined Kansai Airports in September 2018 as Deputy Chief Commercial Officer and has continued to work on creating new customer experiences and attractive commercial ambience to expand non-aeronautical revenues among the three airports in the Kansai region: Kansai International Airport, Osaka International Airport and Kobe Airport.

Currently Stephane is heading the commercial area project within the renovation of Kansai International Airport Terminal 1, scheduled for a grand opening in 2025. This project will completely reorganise the commercial areas and substantially expand the floor space.

His career as an airport operator began in 2010 when he joined Aéroports de Lyon (VINCI Concessions), where he was dedicated to growing non-aeronautical revenues, including car parking and real estate, and was instrumental in increasing passenger traffic at Aéroports de Lyon. Prior to joining VINCI Concessions,  Stephane  worked for Air France and Expedia across Europe and Asia, where he led teams in sales and marketing. He is a specialist in his field with deep expertise, experience, and proven track record in a multi-cultural environment.
