Svetlana Simeonova is a professional, experienced and dynamic manager who sets the standard in the airport commercial business development. A strong work ethic, dependable, honest and with good integrity, she has a positive attitude and is adaptable, as well as being motivated to grow and learn.

In the last 20 years Svetlana has coordinated people and projects in multicultural environments and held positions where communication is of the utmost importance.

She has been an integral part of Fraport Bulgaria in Varna, Bulgaria since 2001. She is currently the Head of the Commercial and plays a vital role in shaping the strategic business development of the company.

Before her time in the Commercial department, Svetlana served as Corporate Secretary and Head of the Legal Department at Fraport Bulgaria. In this role, she demonstrated her strong legal acumen and provided valuable counsel on a wide range of legal matters.

Since the beginning of 2023, she has acted as Vice Chair of the ANARA sub-committee at ACI World. She has also been the leader of WG2 ‘Concession Agreements’ since April 2021.

Svetlana’s diverse background in both commercial and legal aspects of the aviation industry has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this field. Her leadership roles and involvement in industry committees highlight her dedication to driving innovation and excellence in airport operations, concessions and commercial activities.
