Tao Zhang

A Chinese national from Beijing, Tao has been with L’Oréal Group, the world NO.1 beauty company since 2000, holding senior positions across several Group’s subsidiaries and headquarters from Asia to Europe, including L’Oréal China in Shanghai for 10 years, L’Oréal Luxe headquarters in Paris for 7 years, before joining Travel Retail APAC from 2016 based in Hong Kong before moving subsequently in Singapore in 2022.  She is currently managing a portfolio of 19 brands, including Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Helena Rubinstein, Karastrase, L’Oreal Paris, Skin Ceuticals across Asia Pacific region.

Tao speaks fluently Chinese, English and French. She holds an MBA degree from INSEAD. Tao launched and chaired INSEAD Woman In Business (an International alumni committee spanning over 14 countries comprising both men and women committed to promoting diversity and gender equality in the business world) IWiB chapter in Hong Kong
