Yiling Pan is Associate Editor of Jing Daily, the leading digital publication on luxury consumer trends in China. Her role since joining the team in 2016, is to illustrate how the definition of luxury, and by turn, its consumption, is changing. She also focuses on how the digital landscape in China is developing and how brands are adapting and taking advantage of those changes.
Her coverage of the Chinese luxury industry combines a native perspective with her background in economics and finance. She is passionate about demystifying the forces that are shaping the future of the luxury industry in China by bringing readers the latest developments through news, analysis and features. Yiling has conducted interviews with many industry leaders including José Neves, CEO of Farfetch, Andrea Buccellati, President and Creative Director of Buccellati, and Alessandro Sartori, Creative Director of Ermenegildo Zegna.
Yiling is an alumnus of Thomson Reuters News Agency in Shanghai and she holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Columbia University.
