Hong Kong International Airport

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is one of the finest and busiest airports in the world.
As an international aviation hub, HKIA is connected to around 200 destinations worldwide through around 120 airlines. It has been voted the world’s best airport more than 80 times since opening in 1998.
Over the last three years, there have been major projects and facility upgrades that further consolidate Hong Kong International Airport as the leading international aviation hub in the region. The third runway was officially commissioned in November 2022, and the entire Three-runway System, which includes a new Terminal 2, T2 concourse, new automated people mover and baggage system is also expected to be completed by 2024. Meanwhile, the luxury shopping zone and boarding gate areas have been upgraded. With three new iconic duplex shops opened, the launch of the HKIA Loyalty Programme (“HKairport Rewards”) together with the upcoming Luxury Concierge service, passengers can expect a more premium shopping experience at HKIA, along with the new F&B options being added to the existing wide range of offerings.
HKIA is transforming from a city airport into an Airport City. With the development of the 11 SKIES commercial complex well underway and the construction of Hong Kong’s biggest indoor performance venue as part of AsiaWorld Expo Phase 2 to commence soon, the SKYCITY will soon become Hong Kong’s largest integrated complex for retail, dining, entertainment, conferences and exhibitions, with hotels, and offices facilities.
