SINGAPORE. Global SK-II CEO Sue Kyung Lee, one of the most-respected executives in the global beauty sector, is to address The Trinity Forum 2022 to be held in Singapore on 1-2 November.

Lee will chat with The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie in a powerful ‘Leaders’ Perspectives’ session that kicks off the opening afternoon session. This also features Dubai Airports CEO Paul Griffiths and China Duty Free Group President Charles Chen. They will be followed in the next session by SSP CEO Patrick Coveney and IPP Travel Retail CEO Phillip Nguyen with a further speaker to be named soon.

As the first female Korean executive in P&G Korea, and one of the few Asian woman leaders in the vast P&G organisation, Lee is a champion and role model of diversity and inclusion as well as female empowerment.

Renowned as a passionate brand builder and strategic business leader, her exemplary track record of driving outstanding business and organisation results is underpinned by a deep consumer knowledge, game-changing approach to brand building, extensive omnichannel industry expertise, and a passion for people.

“If one were to write a tagline for Sue Kyung Lee, it will be ‘Everything she touches turns to gold’,” says P&G

During her time as the APAC Diversity & Inclusion leader from 2018 to 2019, Lee supported other women in breaking through numerous gender barriers. Significant milestones include harmonising maternity leave across all APAC markets and growing female representation at the APAC managerial level to 50% through impactful initiatives. In recognition of her drive for diversity and inclusion at work, Lee was awarded the 2019 P&G Global Inspirational Leadership Award – the highest accolade within P&G’s diversity and inclusion awards.

P&G said of her: “If one were to write a tagline for Sue Kyung Lee, it will be ‘Everything she touches turns to gold’. With over 25 years of experience in Procter & Gamble, Sue Kyung has led business transformation and growth across brands in the hair, skin and personal care sector and core Asia markets.”

Martin Moodie said, “I am so thrilled to welcome Sue Kyung Lee to the speaking line-up at The Trinity Forum 2022. Besides her extraordinary commercial acumen, Sue Kyung has been at the vanguard of driving diversity, inclusion and women’s empowerment during the course of a stellar career.

“We have been privileged over recent times to tell the multiple stories of SK-II’s commitment to such critical subjects, epitomised by the #CHANGEDESTINY Fund and the launch of SK-II STUDIO, which through the power of film and storytelling is dedicated to tackling social pressures impacting women today. It is critical that industry conferences such as The Trinity Forum also champion and debate these issues and I can think of no individual in our industry better suited to the task than Sue Kyung Lee.”

The Trinity Forum is co-organised by The Moodie Davitt Report, ACI World and ACI Asia Pacific and is hosted this year by Changi Airport Group. We will be naming further speakers in coming days.
