SINGAPORE. Shiseido Travel Retail, one of the powerful Japanese beauty group’s most dynamic divisions, has become a Platinum Partner of The Trinity Forum 2022 to be held in Singapore on 1-2 November.

The Trinity Forum is co-organised by The Moodie Davitt Report, ACI World and ACI Asia Pacific and is hosted this year by Changi Airport Group. The event is making a welcome return after a three-year absence caused by the pandemic.

The Gala Dinner will be held at the magnificent Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel) on 2 November, sponsored by Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail and hosted by Changi Airport Group.

Shiseido Travel Retail President & CEO Philippe Lesné said: “Shiseido Travel Retail is delighted to team up with The Moodie Davitt Report to become a Platinum Partner of The Trinity Forum 2022.

“We welcome the return of this vital platform to discuss the key issues and opportunities facing global travel retail today, honouring the spirit of close collaboration between airports, retailers and brands that The Trinity Forum stands for.

“Putting the consumer at the heart of our business is a commitment that we share with the Trinity. As Shiseido marks its 150th anniversary this year, we are reaffirming this commitment with a renewed sense of purpose. We look forward to exploring the possibilities of a post-pandemic world that we can achieve as a united travel retail industry.”

The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said, “We are thrilled and honoured to welcome Shiseido Travel Retail as a Platinum Partner to coincide with The Trinity Forum making a welcome return for the first time since 2019 in Doha.

“Can it really be more than six years since we broke the story of Shiseido creating a dedicated global travel retail division? In that period Shiseido Travel Retail  has become a constant agent of innovation and positively disrputive change. Its deep commitment to the channel, underpinned by a consumer-centric, digitally advanced, deeply collaborative and socially minded approach, has resulted in it becoming one of travel retail’s most influential forces for progress and for good.

“There’s a particular resonance to this year’s partnership with Shiseido Travel Retail and Jewel Changi Airport having just this week renewed the brand’s naming rights for Jewel Changi’s magnificent indoor forest sanctuary, the Shiseido Forest Valley, until April 2025. Thanks to the great support of Changi Airport Group, Jewel is the extraordinary venue for The Trinity Forum’s Gala Dinner this year, an occasion that will no doubt see our guests pay a visit to the Shiseido Forest Valley. More on that subject to come.

“As Philippe notes, Shiseido Group proudly celebrates its 150th anniversary this year under the banner ‘Beauty Innovations for a Better World’.  We are proud that The Trinity Forum will form an integral part of those celebrations.”
