
Umair Ansari
With over 21 years at The Estée Lauder Companies, Umair Ansari has had the privilege of growing through a diverse set of experiences across geographies, brands and business functions.
His journey began in manufacturing operations, where he built a strong foundation in operational excellence and execution. Since then, Umair has led across business development, corporate transformation and strategy, global brand management, and commercial strategy – with a consistent focus on bridging strategy and execution.
Umair currently serves as Senior Vice President & General Manager, Travel Retail EMEA and Americas, leading one of the largest and most dynamic regions in the company’s global travel retail portfolio – spanning over two-thirds of global passenger traffic. In this role, he partners with exceptional teams across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas to drive growth, innovation and consumer-centric transformation.
Previously, Umair led several Global Transformation Programmes that were enterprise-wide in scale and impact. He also oversaw a portfolio of brands globally within the Travel Retail division, where he successfully executed brand turnarounds, scaled new business models, built high-performing teams and repositioned portfolios to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving global consumer.
Having lived and worked across three continents, Umair brings a global mindset and a deep appreciation for how beauty resonates across cultures. This perspective, he believes, is essential in travel retail, where agility, cultural intelligence and long-term brand-building intersect in powerful ways.
