SINGAPORE/INTERNATIONAL. There are just 18 days until the deadline for entries to The Trinity Challenge 2022. The initiative, brought to you by Mondelez International World Travel Retail (WTR) in association with The Moodie Davitt Report, aims to inspire creativity and innovation in travel retail.

As reported, Mondelez  WTR is the official Innovation Partner for the upcoming Trinity Forum, set for 1-2 November in Singapore. Registration is now open at https://trinityforum.events.

The context

Travellers are placing sustainability and innovation higher in their priorities than ever before. They expect travel retail stakeholders’ products, policies and practices to reflect a genuine and tangible commitment to sustainability.

Equally, in an age where digitalisation has been accelerated by the pandemic, consumers increasingly demand innovation and technology across the online to offline offer and throughout the travel journey.

Guided by the long-time spirit of the Trinity, uniting under a common goal to champion sustainable and innovative practices in travel retail is what Mondelez World Travel Retail calls ‘Travel Retail Made Right’.

The Challenge

The Moodie Davitt Report and Mondelez World Travel Retail invite proposals for ideas, initiatives and solutions to help brands, retailers, airports, airlines and/or other travel ecosystem stakeholders showcase and drive the industry’s sustainability and innovation credentials to travellers.

The terms of reference are deliberately non-prescriptive in order to encourage fresh, alternative and ground-breaking ideas.

The proposal cannot be a campaign, product, service or solution already launched in the travel retail channel before 1 January 2022.

Submission Requirements & Deadline

A simple pdf (4 pages maximum) entry should be emailed to Jeannie Wong at Jeannie@MoodieDavittReport.com headed ‘The Trinity Challenge 2022’, together with any supplementary visual material by end of day on Friday 23 September. It should outline the concept and its sustainability and/or innovation credentials.

Additional supporting material may be provided via WeTransfer or any other sharing folder.

The Prize

A panel of expert judges will select three short-listed proposals that will have the opportunity to present live (or by video) at the Trinity Forum in Singapore on November 1-2.

All proposals will be featured in the Moodie Davitt Report Trinity Forum issue.

The judges will vote on what they feel is the most impactful proposal. The winner will receive:
