VIETNAM. Leading food & confectionery company Nestlé has once again signed as a Platinum Partner for The Trinity Forum 2024, which takes place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 5-6 November.

The company, a long-time supporter of the event and deeply committed to the Trinity principles of greater cooperation and understanding between stakeholders, was also a Platinum partner for the post-COVID events in 2022 and 2023. In fact, ever since the first Trinity Forum in 2003, Nestlé has been a key influence in the evolution of the Trinity concept and its flagship event.

Nestlé is extending its sponsorship through key brand KitKat, which will sponsor the first coffee break on day one.

The event, the world’s most influential airport commercial revenues conference, is owned by The Moodie Davitt Report and co-organised with Airports Council International (ACI) World and ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East. The Trinity Forum 2023 is being hosted by IPP Travel Retail.

Nestlé International Travel Retail General Manager Stewart Dryburgh commented: “Nestlé is very pleased to be a Platinum Sponsor for the Trinity Forum once again in 2024. With international tourism expected to match or even surpass previous record levels this year, the travel retail industry can only be positive in its outlook.

“That said, the entire industry still faces many challenges to ensure growth is long term and, equally important, sustainable. Now is the time for Trinity partners – airports, retailers and brands – to join forces to produce viable and workable solutions to any outstanding or evolving problems.

The trio are among the first speakers announced for The Trinity Forum. They will be joined by a powerful, diverse and inclusive line-up of fellow executives as The Trinity Forum comes to Vietnam for the first time.

“Nestlé International Travel Retail regards The Trinity Forum as the perfect platform for airing any issues facing the industry. It invariably features top-level executives and industry spokespersons, lively debates and promotes open discussions and innovative thinking. It can only be described as a key summit, one which continues to play a leading role in the future of our businesses.

“The Trinity Forum provides the industry with the perfect opportunity to get together; to listen, to talk and to network. For this reason, Nestlé International Travel Retail is more than delighted to be renewing its support as a Platinum Sponsor and, at the same time, playing our part in the forum’s success.”

Dryburgh added: “Nestlé’s commitment to building a solid future for travel retail is well documented, as is our belief that the wider food category can play a key role in achieving that goal.

“We look forward to the opportunity to present our latest developments and strategies to the Trinity audience, underlining once again our aim to make food the number one most purchased category in global travel retail.

“We know our mission is ambitious. We also know it is achievable and firmly believe The Trinity Forum provides the ideal setting for the discussion of such forward-thinking plans.”
