Xavier Rossinyol: Seeking win-win partnerships that ultimately make travellers happier

INTERNATIONAL. Avolta, the newly named brand identity for Dufry, has become a Diamond Partner for The Trinity Forum 2023 to be held in Hong Kong next week on 25-26 October.

The new branding, which encapsulates the Dufry and Autogrill combination, was unveiled during the TFWA World Exhibition on 2 October in Cannes.

Avolta CEO Xavier Rossinyol said: “Avolta’s strategy and our DNA is built on creating win-win-win partnerships as we make travellers happier, much like the collaborative spirit that The Trinity Forum embodies.

“For this reason, we wholeheartedly endorse this industry initiative and thank The Moodie Davitt Report for making it a reality – so it is with great pleasure that we announce our Diamond Partnership of this event.

“Our traveller-centric vision of Travel Experience transcends the traditional boundaries between retail and F&B. More diversified and resilient than ever before, our newly combined business is now unified under one company as Avolta, ready to realise this vision.

“At The Trinity Forum, our team looks forward to exploring shared projects and future plans, as we welcome in the opportunities that lay ahead for our industry, both today and in the years to come.”

In what promises to be a stand-out session, Rossinyol will address The Trinity Forum in his first public address under the new Avolta branding.

The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said: “We are thrilled with Avolta’s support of The Trinity Forum and its deep commitment to the principles that have always underpinned the event. The convergence of retail and food & beverage, which has found such exciting and ambitious voice in the Dufry and Autogrill alignment, offers a prime avenue for eliminating the silos that have so often hindered our sector.

“Avolta is speaking to travelling consumers with a common and consistent voice, one that puts their needs and desires at the top of the company and industry’s agenda.”
