VIETNAM. Lagardère Travel Retail Chairman and CEO Dag Rasmussen is joining an outstanding programme for The Trinity Forum, which takes place on 5-6 November in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The event, to be co-hosted by Airports Corporation of Vietnam and Imex Pan Pacific Group, is the world’s most influential travel retail and airport commercial revenues conference.

The Trinity Forum is owned by The Moodie Davitt Report and organised in partnership with Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific & Middle East and ACI World.

Lagardère Travel Retail was the key driver behind parent company Lagardère SA’s strong H1 performance delivered last week. The division’s triple axis of Travel Essentials, Duty Free & Fashion and Foodservice, with the last-named performing particularly well, positions Lagardère Travel Retail strongly for growth, the group noted.

Rasmussen, who has led Lagardère Travel Retail with great distinction for more than 13 years, is one of the sector’s most astute and erudite voices and among its most influential leaders.

Rasmussen said: “I am delighted to return to The Trinity Forum stage at such an exciting time for Lagardère Travel Retail. Our robust recovery and performance post-COVID in the first half of 2024 showcase our ambitious and successful three-business line strategy.

“I look forward to sharing insights and exchanging ideas with peers as we collectively shape the future of travel retail.”
